Lisa Dyson is the Co-founder and CEO of Kiverdi. She has broad business experience developing corporate strategies in industries including packaging, energy, automotive, chemicals, telecommunications, travel, and nonprofits. While at The Boston Consulting Group, Dyson worked with executives at multinational corporations to help them solve strategic business problems including cutting operational costs, expanding internationally, franchising, developing governance structures, designing effective organizations, and developing market entry strategies. Dyson’s entrepreneurial background began when she was on the founding team of a Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) startup that received funding from Microsoft, and she later built and led a team that developed a technology that reached millions in volunteering campaigns. She is a co-inventor of the Kiverdi technology. Her technical background began with and has included research in bioengineering, energy, and physics at Stanford University; University of California, Berkeley; Princeton University; University of California, San Francisco; and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratories. Among recent accolades, she was named one of the Most Creative People in Business 2017 by Fast Company, and she was inducted into the San Francisco Business Times Forever Influential Honor Roll last year after having been honored by them as “One of the Most Influential Women in the Bay Area” for two years. She earned a PhD in physics from MIT, and she was a Fulbright Scholar at the University of London, where she received a Master of Science degree. She also has degrees in physics and mathematics from Brandeis University.
