Director of Resilient Communities, Clinton Foundation

Leslie Labruto is the Director of Resilient Communities for the Clinton Foundation’s Clinton Climate Initiative in New York City. CCI’s Resilient Communities program, in partnership with Rocky Mountain Institute-Carbon War Room, assists Small Island Developing States transition from diesel to clean energy and energy efficiency. Leslie joins CCI from Summit Partners, a $15 billion venture capital firm in Boston. Previously, Leslie received her Master’s degree in Sustainable Energy Futures from Imperial College London where she published her thesis on Rare Earth Policies in the Journal of Energy Policy. She earned her undergraduate engineering degree from Vanderbilt University, where she served on the Vanderbilt Board of Trust from 2011 to 2015.
